How To Make French Toast . . .

. . . Or Eggy Bread, Depending on Where You Live

French Toast, Eggy Bread – call it what you like, you’ll have to go a long way to find an easier, quicker and tastier breakfast . . . in fact, there’s no law about eating French Toast or Eggy Bread at any time of the night or day.  Whenever you fancy a quick, cheap and tasty snack get out the pan and start cooking . . . not sure how? It’s easy!

How to Make French Toast / Eggy Bread

French Toast is basically made up of only 3 ingredients;

  1. Eggs
  2. Sliced Bread
  3. Seasoning

I bet you’ve got all of those things right there lurking in your cupboards haven’t you . . . you see, no special shopping required.

The Procedure for Making French Toast

  1. Chop your bread slices into quarters
  2. Beat up a couple of eggs, then add plenty of seasoning (salt & pepper) to taste
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan
  4. Dip the bread pieces into the egg, (don’t leave them in too long or they’ll go soggy)
  5. Fry the bread pieces in the pan for a couple of minutes each side
  6. Remove the cooked eggy bread and then do the rest of the pieces when they’re nicely browned
  7. Transfer to a warm plate and enjoy

It’s cheap . . . it’s simple (yes, even YOU can do it) . . . it’s delicious.

French Toast Variations

Once you’ve mastered the art, don’t be afraid to experiment a little with your French Toast / Eggy Bread. You can add a few chopped chillis, onions etc to give it a little spicy crunch, or alternatively you can make a very yummy sweet version. Watch this . . .
