Kitchen Hygiene – Is Your Kitchen Spic and Span
I mean really clean . . . in the corners and everywhere!
We all know the importance of keeping our homes clean and hygienic, but it might surprise you to know that I seem to remember reading somewhere once (okay, vague I know but bear with me) that many peoples kitchens are actually dirtier than the loo! Now then, you wouldn’t want to prepare food or eat it in the loo would you (apart from the odd secret candy bar . . . that doesn’t count in your daily calories) but whilst we’re all busy putting chemicals and sticking sweet smelling contraptions to the side of the loo to keep it nice and sparkly, many of us actually forget about the germs and bacteria which are lurking in our very own kitchens.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those “clean freaks” and was brought up to believe in the 5 second rule and that everyone has to eat a certain amount of dirt before they die . . . and I’m still here, but even so you’ve got to make sure that your kitchen is as spic and span as it can possibly be.
