How to Clean a Nonstick Pan . . .
even if you shouldn’t have to!
Come on, the whole point of non stick pans is that stuff doesn’t stick to them, a quick wipe around in some soapy water and they’re good as new. Well, this might work for the first couple of times, but unfortunately some non stick pans have less “non stickiness” than others, and especially if your other half insists on using a metal spatula to flip his eggs when you’re not watching . . . YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
So, now that we’ve established that stuff does occasionally stick even to non stick pans, you still shouldn’t be tempted to start on them with a metal scourer . . . the non stick pans worst enemy . . . they like to be treated gently with tenderness, and they really will last much longer for you. Here’s one good idea . . .
Ha ha, couldn’t resist slipping that one in. Who’d have thought that “non stick pan” and “steel wool scrubber” were part of an international language – classic!
