How To Make Ice-Cream . . . In A Bag
This is for all the people who thought you couldn’t make ice-cream at home without an ice-cream making machine! Let me ask you this, which came first, ice-cream, or ice-cream making machines . . . I mean, if nobody had invented ice-cream, nobody would have invented an ice-cream making machine would they, what on earth would they use it for? All you need to make a portion of scrumptious ice-cream is a couple of plastic bags, some milk, sugar, a chocolate chip cookie (or two, you can eat one while you’re waiting) and some other bits and pieces you’re bound to have lurking in a kitchen cupboard.
I won’t go into too much detail, you can watch the video for that, but this method does have one very important advantage over any other ice-cream making procedures . . . with all of that shaking and wiggling you’ll have already shed any calories which you’re going to put straight back on when you get stuck into your scrummy ice-cream. Perfect!
See, it’s a fun, science, yummy activity which you can do with your kids!
Don’t worry, if you don’t have any kids available you can still make yourself some ice-cream . . .
After you’ve perfected your technique, why not experiment with lots of other flavors . . . caramel, chocolate, strawberry, banana, cinnamon, hamster droppings – no . . . kids . . . I was only joking, it might look like chocolate chips but it certainly won’t taste the same!
I’m not sure whether I should have allowed this video onto the page, I mean, there’s no bag, and there’s no ice! Soft serve ice-cream, surely she means mousse!!! Let’s assume that you’ll pop yours into the freezer to let it firm up a bit, then I’ll leave it on here . . . do you promise?
